Dr. Scott Percival
Dr. Percival has been practicing optometry in Kelowna for more than 20 years, establishing Mission Creek Optometry in 2008. Our patient care includes families from Kelowna, Westbank, Peachland, the Okanagan Valley, Calgary area and even out East.
Dr. Percival graduated from the University of Calgary then headed to Chicago to enroll in optometry school at the Illinois College of Optometry. Upon graduation in 1999, he practiced for a year in the state of Washington which gave him an excellent introduction to therapeutics and managing eye disease before returning to Kelowna.
Mission Creek Optometry is proud to participate as a teaching facility by working with the University of Waterloo Optometry Externship Program. This teaches optometry students how to care for patients in their primary care rotations. Dr. Percival is also an active member of his professional association, the BC Association of Optometrists and is a member of Eye Recommend™. He enjoys all facets of family eye care.
In his private life, Dr. Percival is married and is the proud father of three wonderful children. He always finds time to enjoy his lifelong passion, playing soccer. Enjoying time with his family, getting Tim Horton's tea, gardening, walking his two German Shepherds and looking after his many pets also adds to his love of living in the Okanagan.
