Anxiety Released with Eye Movements!

Yes! You can reduce the symptoms of stress and anxiety by just moving your eyes right to left continuously. Try it for at least 20 seconds by keeping your head stationary and just using eye movement.

Bilateral stimulation is stimuli (visual, auditory or tactile) which occur in a rhythmic left-right pattern. For example, visual bilateral stimulation could involve watching a hand or moving light alternating from left to right and back again. Auditory bilateral stimulation could involve listening to tones that alternate between the left and right sides of the head. Even alternating tapping of the right and left leg would work.

The next time you feel anxious, use bilateral stimulation to reduce the symptoms.  Gazing right and left, in a rhythmic conscience manner rebalances the brain.  It's a simple quick tool to help with overwhelming feelings.
